This new product (RRG) was a requested rodent resistant project. What you see here is a split tube with a non-toxic bitter additive. The tube material selected is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Testing showed the best results with this material. Rodents (squirrels) did not make repeated bites into the guard. Testing has taken place in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The tubing can be used with cable up to 2 1/2 inches. Cable ties secure the tubing in place. Lengths vary based on need.
